    Correctamundo! the photo of the Verdeja you refer to seems to be "the real thing", if l remember correctly, it utilized the turret of a PzKw1 (modified) a Russian 45 mm gun and a Ford 95 hp. engine? Now my question..what model was the 75 mm mounted aboard the SPG version of the Verdeja?

    it is a Venezuelan armoured car, also called la tortuga or turtle, was designed by Engineer Tomas Pacanins,based on a ford chasis 6X4 comerical chasis

    It was a 75/40 mm designed for that chassis (the only one made).

    The vehicle was a complete failure-it was clumsy, due to an overloaded de chassis, poorly ventilated for the tropics) and the few built were soon discarded-but the experiment was not a total loss :the Venezuelan soldiers found at last found a proper used for one of them: as a latrine! hahahaha! :p :p :p

    Damn, usually when someone starts speaking another language I can understand it but I don't know any Spanish... And it's a little hypocrite to ask to keep the forum international now that I've broken that rule so many times. Ah well. A translation would be nice?

    BTW, many of you have an advantage over me, i only speak 4 languages:english, bad english, spanish and bad spanish :oops:
