Glad yo ulike this Festung Ausweis Erich. Now what about this rare Luftwaffe crash relic? It's a FarbBeutel that was used by crews to show rescue teams wher ethey crashed by throwing dye into the water.

Bomber Erich. It was found on a crashsite in Southern England according to the guy who previously owned it.
I haven't had the time to read all the detils and markings but it seems very promising.

In the meantime here is my newest Fliegerhaube. It's a leather version made by Siemens. I know Erich has a nicer one with headphones included, but I'm more thna happy with this goodie .

Thanks Erich. I still need to find goggles. I have kradmelder ones , but though looking good on the mannequin they don't really fit. The Jacket is another matter. I was offered a Kanalhose for 650 euros, but considering Ialso needed the jacket + other details I decided to wait for now.

it is a neat way to collect history Kai I will agree.

a couple of postcards from Germany from the school ship later administrative ship Gorch Fock. A gorgeous craft the crate actually had set ups for two 2cm Flakvierlings and several single 2cm weapons fittings later war. Her sister ship the Albert-Leo Schlageter shot down 3 Soviet torpedo bombers using her meagre weapons.

There were four of these beautiful ships sailing pre-war and during the conflict.

    Gorck Fock

She was a gorgeous looking craft, there is a new Fock though that has undergone some recent controversy about the death of a female member of the crew.........sad, the Kapitän seems to be the one whom the blame has been cast upon by the German media.

    another nice pic

plus something else is coming from Germany too
