I paid the price for it though and I had to choose because I could only afford one. The other one was the aluminium version also with its original leather belt .

Great medal kai, the fact that it has regional clasps makes it even nicer.

German Hohner Harmonica in its original box. This is the "Unsere Liebling model" that was offered by sweethearts and mothers to the soldiers. See Deutsche Soldaten by Augustin Saiz, page 288

There are a few parts missing, the carry bag for the control unit, the second loudspeaker, the manuals, replacement tubes and batteries. The more the transport chest has been repainted so that the original markings have vanished. But I got it quite cheap!

I had to pick this original Petain Frame. It needs a bit of restoration, but it's a quite rare picture to get.

Interesting that the Petain frame has survived the post-war period, Skipper!

In fact this was thrown away in a cellar, hence the broken glass, but luckily it was a dry place and the frame remained leaning on a wall with part of the frame still intact after all those years.

I have some connections that I can truly trust, and I guess the one I most often use can be seen from the photos themselves.... ;)

From Norway, this Wehrmacht bakelite storm and rain matches. They are in absolute mint condition.

Those storm matches are a great find Skipper, really nice stuff! I might have landed another "coup" today, but I think there are some tough negotiations about the price ahead of me. Wait and see!

Just "love" these two items. The first being a badge from Winter war for fire fighters in cities in Finland, and the second a medal for the Ladoga defence troops for the whole period of war...I have purchased ones before but like I said I am really into these ones... ;)

good for you Kai, well done ! great to see items from a little known time of men and land and yet quite important. have always wondered since the Finns had small Pt like boots if the Navy was strong enough to take on the Soviets in the far north for a short time ?
