Wonder if the surname has something to do with "Erich the Field Marshall " and made people send autographs... ;) Actually I don´t know but I have a feeling about this.

Kai congrats on the NF G. Raht item extremely rare. finding a pic of him well......................signed, good luck, weird but easier to obtain a RK winners signed pic of his radar op who told me his CO was an admired and fantastic pilot. Rökker also replied as well in a positive manner about Gerhard, as they were both usually up on the same operation(s0 together in 1945.

Well, the May 1st relic hunting was a success. With Mrs Skipper we drove to Fontainebleau (cosy suburb south-east of Paris). In one of the neigbouring villages a guy was selling some militaria . He knew what he was selling, but it was worth it. I "found" some German cuttelry , including a Kriegsmarine fork and and an unusual shaped Heer spoon. Note the Solingen markings on one of the knives.

    the front looks rather "normal"

the other side is interesting to say the least!

Looks like a 4 piece mess set spoon. I like the knife with the squarer handle. I do not have that shape. Rich A. in Pa.
