Definitely a movie about the first black company in the war. Forgot what they were called, think they were a tank/armored division company or something.

There are so many great african-american actors out there. Possibly Morgan Freeman as a senior officer and Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx, even Will Smith, they'd all be great.

you know that would be a great movie to watch.. great all star cast. Very few movies have ever been made about an all black company in ww2. Last one to be made was Miracle at St Anna. But of course it was a fiction. But definitely a great idea.

Hey Sunny 971, concerning your question on thanking Carl E. for the salute, you could go to the PMs and thank him, or add smilies. Also remember to return the favor when you think that it is called for in the future.

Quite welcome. On getting salutes-you can if you want to but I don't expect one in return ;-)) They have that "hand" thing to click on when giving a person a salute-or I also do this when I can't give reps or anything which is to type one of these :salute:'s in.

I forgot--one area of "story-telling" that is grossly neglected-is one dealing with the happenings at Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin during the Cold War years. I bet a great Drama-or a great Comedy-could be made from this ;-))
