Great Hondo shots especially when he is about to fight that Apache Indian. Great shot of Michael Pate holding Hondos Cav hat.
Just TRY to find lobbycards and a movie posted for The Alamo-and to buy it, tou would have to sell your home, and your left arm and probably a few vertebrae-to get them.
Speaking of Duke, AMC is going to be playing more fo his classica soon. I forget the reason why? NOT that they need a reason to play his movies ;-0)
Ahh, Rio Grande ad I think this one was filmed at Moab Utah-where many of his Westerns were made, many also made in and near Durango Mexico. Shame that Claude Jarmin Jr quit the hollywood scene very early. He was a very good actor.
Found this if anyone is interested DeAgostini | The Classic John Wayne Collection | Welcome My mistake there are only back issues available now
Hi Ray, Vlad, thanks twice ;-)) Rat I forgot to mention that one of those Lobby Cards from The Alamo-that you posted, is one that I have a great still of thanks to Mr. Bills generosity. Vlad, thanks for the site. Ill be doing mopre checking into it.
The Magnificent Seven was great-the first one anyway. The other three were OK but sadly needed Steve McQueen and Yul Brynner in them though Brynner made the 2nd "Seven" movie.
Hi Ray, Vladd, Ray, that aint Gail Russell is she? Vladd, I hadnt know that TMS was a TV serries? What channel was it on?
Well in the UK in was on ITV, though I see it wasn't that recent in the US it finished ten years ago "The Magnificent Seven" (1998)
