    William Windom was a Character Actor and you will know him when you see him. One of my favorites with him in it was an episode of Star Trek as a Commodore in the episode: The Doomsday Machine.

    He certainly fits here because he also served as a Paratrooper in WWII. Rest in Peace William--you have my everlasting respect for serving Sir.
