This book is about several German soldiers and I believe one Russian soldiers individual accounts of the final days of the European conflict. Its quite an interesting book, and really gives me an idea of what went through these soldiers minds right before the end.

    Author: Tony Le Tissier

Tony le Tissier was British Governor of Spandau prison and has made 'Berlin' his specialized subject ; see for instance 'Berlin : Then & Now' - a monumental work.
