LOLOLOLOLOL. Thats it, i figured it out. Inferiority complex. Everyone quick...list all the books you've ever read and piss farther than me. LOL
Ahhh...To be young again and have all that television time. Let's keep it simple and list only the books in the list...After all we all know what most TV docos are worth. From the looks of the list, you are quite fond of History Channel docos, despite your earlier disparagement of them. I also note that you have poo-poo'd Hunting Hitler, but appear to have watched all the episodes...Hypocrite much?
I read through this thread. When it was posted as a WW2 Learning Zone it piqued my interest because I am always interested in expanding my WW2 knowledge. I read some "myths" of WW2, many of which have been discussed before. Some have been debunked as inaccurate in other places. Looking through it some of our more learned members tried to point out errors, omissions, and areas where there needed to be complete before they were accepted. There seemed to be no commensurate attempt by the OP to show why some of these "myths" should be accepted. Instead the thread devolved into snark and sarcasm. Needless to say, my quest to expand my knowledge was left unfulfilled.
I asked you about Yalta...But judging from you response, you believe that it is located somewhere on Mars. But hey, you know all...
Also, given your supposed age, you would not have listed the TV shows, as your personal library should have taken up several pages. Any one else note that TV composes most of his list, but literature hardly any.
Lou, it's what's called "clickbait". He is trying to get people to click on his link in order to learn all these wonderful things more about WW2, which is unwilling to discuss here because so many of us aren't British so don't understand his awesomeness...or something like that. I was kind of expecting it after his wonderful D-Day thread a few weeks ago.
Sorry Javey. I don't consider LWD, RichTO90, and Takao to be "bullies". They have greater knowledge than I do and I respect their opinions. I don't see much of an attempt to debate them, only assertions that your superior knowledge means you must be correct. The IWM certainly has great knowledge, but their opinions have been grounded by debate, not assertion.
