"Overlord" was my trigger to make sure it was "Overlord."

761st Tank Battalion: The Black Panthers. Poor costumes for GIs and Germans. American general in Class A with four stars. Reference to independent tank battalions asisgned to the infantry div. as tank divisions. Main character in paratrooper smock. Wrong terms (take the "wheel" for driving a Sherman). White officer striking a black NCO.

Bad sets. 2 man crews per Sherman. Ease with which driver/bow gunner changed position or even climbed into the turret cage. No tank periscopes. Ditto with interior of German tanks. Dense tank formations, clear skies (Battle of the Bulge), trees with leaves in winter and dry ground in some scenes). Too much CGIs.

Anyone of us could have been hired as a military consultant to make it more realistic.

Saw it free on Tubi and I guess that's why it was free.
