    Leonard Birchall, of the Royal Canadian Air Forces's 413th squadron, was dubbed the "savior of Ceylon" for spotting and radioing in that a Japanesse invasion force composed 4 battleships and 5 carriers were headed to Ceylon, the Island just southeast of India.

    Sorry, I was out of town. Anyway, on July 17th, 1944 a event described as "catastrophic" by the various officers plotting to overthrow the nazi regieme occured. What was this?
