This is ma wee Jenny. She's a four year old Jack Russell, and hyper beyond belief. I got her back in the summer, and she should be stick-thin with the amount of bouncing/running around she does!
Don't worry, she's got me well trained.

Our miniature Aussie has currently had 3 puppies this evening. I helped with them but now mother is home to help with the (hopefully very few) rest. Amazing

The newest addition to the family. this makes 4 very healthy (though unplanned) puppies. Prettiest coloring on a dog I've ever seen...the picture does not do her justice.

7 pups at this point...one runt, who is fighting but struggling. I suspect we'll lose him by morning. mama dog only weights about 18 pounds...I think pups may outweigh her if she has any more.

Here's Zeus...he's a catcher dog for hunting wild boars/hogs....note battle damage on his left side! He was in camp during my hog hunt to heal from his wounds.

He's not my dog, but a real charmer and great hunting dog!

Our little one lost his fight for life. He died snuggled up with his momma and his siblings. Proper burial wrapped up warm in a blanket in the family pet cemetery. Been a long couple days.

Sorry to hear that, Bro. Always hard to lose a member of the family. Been there, done that, still dreading the day our beagles go.

Sorry to hear about the Luke. I know the days have been tiring.

We just sold 9 black and tan English Shepherd pups, all while my wife was dealing with the broken arms. The dam delivered 10 healthy, beautiful pups back in in Sept, but stepped one four days later and killed it.

I received this in an email.
    While not our pets, thought you'd like to see this;

Baby Moose, 12-hours old, born in the middle of downtown Naubinway , MI .
Naubinway , MI , is on the north shore of Lake Michigan on route US-2 about 40 miles west of the Mackinaw Bridge in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

In my 33 years in Michigan 's Upper Peninsula , I have never seen a new-born
    baby moose.
The mother picked a small, quiet neighborhood, and had her
baby in a front yard just off of US- 2, 5:30 AM.
Allen and I were out bike
riding when we came upon the pair.
The lady across the street from this
house told us she saw it being born.
We saw them at 5:30 PM. So the little
    one was 12 hours old.

What an awesome place we live in to see such a sight.

Knows better here, they pass gas because they mimic the behavior of their owners as a natural self-defense mechanism. This was in pavlav's unwritten animal experiments.

We'll have to say goodbye to our most beautiful Molly next Friday. The Vet and an assistant will come to the house, and we'll be able to cuddle her at her favourite spot under one of the apple trees, while the vet administers the shot. She shakes as she tries to stand and is obviously in pain when she walks. It's going to be a rough couple of weeks - 1st anticipating and then learning to accept she is not there. My heart hurts....

Understand Michelle. We've gone through that too many times.
