All set. Cleared my cache as VP suggested. Easy fix.

Good work Otto. I am liking the changes that have been made so far. Much better for viewing on a mobile phone, too.

My reason for mentioning it was because the use of the "poppy" is primarily to honor veterans who have died. It would be funny if it weren't for that.

Yes, much better than the blue.
The logo will stay the same, but I'll nudge the forums up some to reduce that negative space around it.
[/QUOTE] I like the ideas, but for now I'll leave it as is. Much bigger fish to fry right now.

    1. Arial is now the default. In fact I thought I had done this but tahoma was installed. I'm really quite impressed with your ability to see the difference between the two.
    2. The shading will stay for now as it's a bit deeper than I'd like to dig into the theme with other pressing issues in the queue. Hopefully Arial makes the shading a bit more tolerable, as it does look a bit less fuzzy on my iPad.

Poppy smilie fixed as it was a five second job and was a bit confusing to the tone of posts with poppies in them. I'll save the remaining 1,200 smiles for later.

You've already helped a tonne, as you are a Patron. :) Other than that just keep me informed of bugs, problems, or glitches.

Post migration there were some problems with members being unable to reset passwords, and people registering for the first time. Both have now been fixed.

Very low priority, but I think a fun idea would be to have Purple Hearts for good 'burns' in the Free Fire Zone threads. Some of the insults passed around (all in good fun, mind you), should get noted. You'd award the Purple Heart to the burned, which would be like a Salute to the burner.

I like the new diggs. Thanks to Otto and co. for the work.

Low priority here, but any chance we get new stock avatars? My imported one from the old site makes me look like an Adolf fan as opposed to a cool web savvy dude who edited the stock avatar to be "edgy".

Thought OMA was going for the hipster look...

Feel like i'm in Paris (never been there). Wandering unfamiliar streets like a tourist...tres cool. Viva la WW2F.

It'd be nicer to have the date/time of post on top of comment, because when on phone- a longer post takes a while to scroll down. Petit beef.

My birth date says 2008. Been here since 2000 although under different names (because computers died/divorce/etc).
Old site recognized my original birth date and all salutes...The stats don't really matter to me, just that time and salutes are kind of like a resume for others to judge - how lousy i can be.

Like that the site identifies the number of robots...Unsure if robots are good.
Would not feel bad arguing with a robot. Can't robots be identified with a scarlet R on their title...We need more scapegoats.

I've noticed that it tends to log me out fairly often even though I've checked the remain logged in box.

    *** edit for ***
A bit of a learning curve here. I like what I've seen so far and it won't be very long before I wouldn't want to go back.

One thing that is missing is the button on quoted posts that lets you jump back to said post. Quite useful for looking at the context especially if the post was back several pages. Not a high priority item though. The apparently random logouts are more irritating.

I also noticed that there didn't seem to be a delete option in the conversation/pm section. I occasionally go through and clean out "conversations" that don't seam relevant anymore. A habit that dates back to boards that used to have fairly small limits on them. Am I just not seeing the option or isn't it there?

    *** another edit for ***
Answered my own question. Apparently you delete "conversations" by "leaving" them. So I just wasn't seeing it.

    Climbing that learning curve. :)
