Thank you my friend ! And hopefully soon, probably in November I will write Martin Drewes with several questions, allowing him and family to return from the Treffen.

Hey thats cool. And 300 postings---yer ketchin up wit me. I think now, you would have 3-4 awards if they were still up and running. (Otto has been very busy and hasnt had much time for getting them back up, but, I know we are all looking forward to seeing them again.

Ive been sending him scans of more of my Imperial German stuff, I just got 3 more in this week and hopefully, I will have either a 4 pace or a 5 place medal bar but will not know till monday for sure   I NEEEEEEEEEED these medal bars     or I will flip my lid ;)

I'll take a Ritterkreuz or a Deutsche Kreuz bitte !.......ah well, hmmmmmmm. Whatever Otto decides of course.
Something very interesting just crossed my e-mail as I was in-between the forum headings. A Swedish friend has some very intersting pics of war-time and after war signed German night fighter aces for sale. I'll keep you posted when I hear what he has.

    Horrido !

Yes you are correct ! I haven't dealt with Bjorn before but I think with one of his co-workers in the photo-sales field in Sweden. You have obviously dealt with him and are satisfied ?

Oh yeah, Bjorn is a great person to buy from--which is where I have been getting my Heinrich hoffmann photos from and my Werner Molders and signed Erich Hartmann photo. I have more Molders photos he is offering. One of his aircraft mainly showing some kill markings and anothe Luft press photo.

My problem is im running out of money for these things (again) and I hate to lost this good source--Crap--I HATE being poor

Anyone want mint comic books for $1.00 each?--these are superhero comic books. The war stuff is a bit more expensive.

    PS, I ship for free.

I know exactly what you mean......the big reason why I only deal in Luftwaffe pilot/crew fotos. Over the years I have had to really limit what I purchase as it does seem written material becomes first priority.

Actually, my problem is, is that I keep being offered some really amazing photos. I mean, who can pass up on deals dealing with people like Rudel, Molders, and Hartmann?? I caand I know, its a sickness I have, a disease. Sooner or later, I know this stuff will pan out. Even if it is only on this site.

Another monster problem is what the fotos are going for. Man I have seen stuff run into the hundreds if not the thousands, and a person really has to think through all this.......do I really want this for my archiv-collection or could I get 7 other lesser known guys for the same price(s).
    Crazy world huh ?

I wouldnt pay thousands for any photo except for two photos. One would be the Rosenthal photo of the Iwo Jima flag raising, the other would be the photo with the sailor kissing the nurse in Times Square. Those originals would be worth it.
